Food bank Antwerp-Mechelen-Turnhout is a humanitarian initiative which was selected as a worthy cause by our DISC Belgium Team for 2011.

This good cause was proposed by myself in order to support the food bank in these times of economical crisis, as more and more people will turn to them for help.

I am pleased that my colleagues went along with this train of thought, because not only did more people turn to the food bank, but at the same time, fewer foodstuffs were donated by the industry. Through DISC Belgium’s contribution, we could at least relieve some of their distress.
